NORTHERN LIGHTS FOUNDATION

The Northern Lights Foundation is a federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing equity, empowerment, and opportunity within Black and marginalized communities across Canada. Through leadership training, capacity development, digital literacy, and reintegration programs, we help individuals and organizations rise beyond barriers and build sustainable futures.

Capacity Building & Leadership
Training and mentorship to help Black-led organizations enhance governance, transparency, and strategic impact.
Economic Empowerment
Entrepreneurship and workforce readiness initiatives for youth, women, and justice-involved individuals, fostering independence and economic mobility.
Social Reintegration
Support for individuals transitioning from the criminal justice system—through mentorship, skill development, and community restoration.
Digital Inclusion
Workshops and tools that close the digital divide and prepare participants for success in the modern economy.

We collaborate with community organizations, faith-based networks, and sector experts across Ontario.

Our partners provide technical training, governance consulting, and outreach support, helping us expand our reach and strengthen impact across Black communities
